CADGETS NEWS

Sassy has her Bronze Grand Champion title!!! As of Sunday, September 29th, 2019. So proud of my little girl!

Cadgets First Champion of 2019
Another Marty son finishes with 4 majors!

CH Cadgets Tangerine Man
"Tanner"
Tanner was shown by my friend, Darcy Ahlers, of South Dakota, and I am so thrilled for the terrific job she did! Thank you so very much, Darcy!!!

Cadgets Second Champion of 2019
CH Cadgets Soul Of Athena
"Piper"
(Champaigne Quintessential To Cadgets x CH Flinters Delyteful Goin T Town)

Another shout out to thank Darcy Ahlers for showing Piper to her championship. Piper can be a bit of a handful at times, and Darcy handled her beautifully for me. Considering going for her Grand, but will think on that for a bit.

Cadgets Taking Flight To Shadows

Another Marty baby going far! Barbara McClure is loving showing off our little Scartlett, and was ecstatic when she called me to tell me that Scarlett had gotten a Best Of Breed award over Champions in April, 2019!!! Breathless, to say the least!  It won't be long before this pretty girl will have that nice "CH" in front of her name, I know.

CH Cadgets Magnificent Dexter The Great
finished his championship with 4 majors all in Washington state
Dexter is loved greatly by Genessa and Fabian Cielo and lives in
Issaquah, Washington. We are all so very proud!

October 22, 2017..........Sassy is on a roll.....Showing under judge David Krogh at the Wenatchee Kennel Club dog show in Cashmere, Washington, she was awarded Best Opposite Sex as well as Best Owner Handled Papillon. On to compete against other Toy Breed winners in Group, and getting a 1st place award! Thank you so much, Judge Pat Putman!  A long wait while all the other groups competed gave Sassy a chance to rest and enjoy having lots of belly rubs. When the time came for us to go in against the other Group 1st place winners, Sassy never missed a stride - flying around the ring showing Judge Chuck Murray what she's made of. He was impressed enough to honor us with RESERVE BEST IN SHOW for the National Owner Handler Series!!! What a girl.

September 17, 2017............A NEW GRAND CHAMPION!! Sassy has had a whirlwind of winning awards, flying to her new title in a very short period of time! We are so happy for having friends like Dick & Michelle Navarre, who were able to help out by handling Sassy for us during the time we could not make it to shows.

July 30, 2017...........CADGETS HAS A NEW CHAMPION!  Our wonderful girl, Sassy, is now known as CH Cadgets Sassy Classy Chassis after winning a 4 point major in Casper, Wyoming!  On to Bismarck now, where she will be attempting to earn her Grand Champion title! Thank you so very much, Michelle Navarre, for taking our girl with you for awhile!

May, 2017......After being frustrated for quite some time over the nutrition being offered in the food we were feeding our beloved dogs, and then having that very food seem to contribute to some health issues, we were introduced to LA products.  I so wish I had found this food and products a long time ago!  Not only did many of the health problems go away, but my girl's coats after whelping didn't go down as far as they normally do.  Another bonus: "Poop Patrol" has became a treasure hunt. The amount of waste is so much less than before that I almost want to say it's reduced to half. While that may seem a bit much, I can honestly say that there is significantly less to clean up than a few months ago by far. I am very excited about this, and went so far as to want to be an independent field representative for these wonderful products. You can click the link above to check it out for yourself, or ask for a sample. Is it cheap? No. But I have discovered that it is less expensive than most top shelf brands. If you would like to see if your food is one that has been compared to on the website, there is a comparison chart on the website that may help you decide if it's worth a try. There is now a new product line for humans, too. Let me know if you have questions. Just click on my name here and it will take you to the site:

September 30, 2017  ----  "Cadgets Magnificent Dexter The Great" is quite a mouthful for such a little fellow, but he's quite the dynamo, and pretty darned full of himself, so it's a fitting name for him, I guess.  Dexter is loved, owned, and cherished by Genessa and Fabian Cielo of Issaquah, Washington. I'm so glad that they honored my request to show this fantastic young dog and show the world the type and quality that is coming from our CH Cadgets Back To The Future (aka Marty). At just a year old, getting a Best Of Breed award is something that we are mighty proud of. Here's to hoping there are more to come!
*******************************************************************
August 19, 2016 ----- Papillon Association of Puget Sound had their 24th Papillon Specialty in Enumclaw, Washington. Our judge was Robert Hutton, and I was honored when he chose my Marty to be deemed his Winners Dog for the day! A 4-point major and a new champion! Icing on the cake was being considered Best Bred By in Breed and getting a hug along with a wonderful compliment from Mr. Hutton about Marty.

June 5th, 2016 ----- Cadgets Back To The Future (AKA Marty) goes Best Of Breed, Best of Bred By exhibitors, and Best Owner Handler in Breed at the Yakima Dog Show in record breaking heat! I am SO very proud of my red boy!

June 7th, 2015 ------- drumroll, please....... Zelicaon The Whirlwind (AKA Billy) goes Best Of Winners at Puyallup, Washington for a 4 point major, making him now officially CH Zelicaon The Whirlwind.  Such a wonderful dog! Personality that we hope he passes on to his offspring. Now the big question........who will the lucky "first lady" be?  Hmmmmmm

A lot seems to be happening here all at once! On Wednesday, June 3rd, our beautiful Flame gave birth to 2 gorgeous puppies - one boy, and one girl. Daddy is Grand Champion Titian's Risky Business. Both families are very proud and we can't wait to see how these lovelies turn out!

We are SOOOO excited here!  When you read below the accomplishments of Flame, you will understand why. Flame's firstborn, Cadgets Born Of Fire (aka "McKenna" or "Mac") earned her first 2 points on her second day in the Conformation ring! She was 8 months old, and won not only Winners Bitch, but went on for Best Puppy in Breed! I couldn't be more proud - 14 bitches entered meant that Mac came in ahead of some fine, quality Papillons!

Zelicaon Unsinkable Molly Brown earned her first points just a month or so after coming home with me. What a lovely girl!

Am/Can CH Zelicaon Flaming Star to Cad
gets:

Flame finished her Championship on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 with Judge David Krogh watching over the capable handling of her breeder, Forrest Johnson. According to an onlooker, I was told that Flame was "so full of herself that she DARED the judge to not put her up for the win!" I am so proud that Forrest will be in Flame's "new champion" picture! Thank you, Vicki Eckstein for grabbing your phone for this great shot!

 Flame's accomplishments:

***April 7, 2013 under Judge David Krogh - 4 points with 12 bitches competing. Photo to come
***January 13, 2013 under Judge Don Sutton - 3 points with 15 bitches competing.
***Jaunary 12, 2013 under Judge Dr. Jose Luis Payro (Mexico) - 3 points with 15 bitches competing.
***December 7, 2012 under Judge Jan Paulk - 3 points with 17 bitches competing. Photo on "Our Girls" page.
***
August 17, 2012 - Best in Sweeps at Papillon Association of Puget Sound Specialty. Photo to come.
***June 2, 2012 - under Judge Keke Kahn - 2 points at the Yakima Kennel Club dog show. Unfortunately the photo was so fuzzy it couldn't be used.
***May 26th, 2012 - Judge Rodney Herner - 2 points with 13 bitches competing.
Now Flame gets to be a mommy....

Cadgets HidNCreek Peter Pan CD, RE and Alicia Sehorn:
In just 3 tries, "Petey" has earned his Rally Novice title!

He is now known as:

Cadgets Hidncreek Peter Pan, RN

And had not reached his first birthday yet!

Petey was only 10 1/2 months old when he got his title, and

had earned his CGC over a month previous.

Three days after earning his title, Petey zigged
when he should have zagged, and caused him
to break a front leg. A specialist in Spokane
fixed him up with itty bitty screws and a
metal plate, and he's happily competing again!
