CH Cadgets Way To Go-West
"Kip"
| Now that AKC has
added another level to strive for, it was decided that Kip would
be Specialed for a time to earn his Grand Champion title. His
first effort paid off handsomely in Spokane, Washington on May
28th and 29th, 2011. On Saturday, Kip was chosen as
"Select Dog", and on Sunday we enjoyed having our picture taken
with another Cadgets Best Of Breed winner! |
 |
| Kip was eye-catching right from
the start. The smallest of 3 in the litter, he has quickly grown
to his full size by 6 months, and is impressing the judges from
his first day in the ring, when he went Reserve Winners Dog. Kip
is co-owned by Judy Sanders, of Tacoma, WA, with Gayle. Kip is
Judy's first "show dog" and she couldn't be more proud.
This picture was taken in Bremerton,
Washington, with Judge Richard Camancho. He earned Best Of Winners this day
for his first major. We can only dream of what the
future of this guy will be!! |

|
The 2nd day at Bremerton, Judge Edd Bivin agreed
with the previous day's judge, and gave Kip the honor of being
"Best Of Winners" for his 2nd major! We are blessed for Kip to have such striking
markings to go along with his wonderful movement and structure.
His willingness to please has been evident from the start, and
his high energy level makes it seem effortless for him to go all
day without faltering in the stress of a show day. |

On to Klamath Falls, Oregon to show
against Kip's litter brother, Cadgets Credentials - better known
as "Teddy". A grand time was had by all, with the
highlight for us being honored as having the "Best Puppy In
Breed" as well as a Puppy Group 4. Thank you Judges Jon Cole and
Robert Stein |

| We sure enjoyed this
sunny day in September of 2008 at the Wenatchee Kennel Club All
Breed Show, where Kip once again is chosen as Best Of Winners by
Judge Susan St. John Brown for his 3rd 3-point major.

******A TERRIBLE
FRIGHT*****
| Tragedy almost took Kip from us in
November of 2008 when his curiosity got the better of him, and
he had to have surgery to save his life. A simple sock had been
consumed by him, and parts of it had lodged in his small
intestine, where it had caused numerous small perforations.
After 1/3 of the intestine was removed, the doctor told us that
it would be all up to Kip, as there was nothing else that could
be done. We were all scared for a long time, as the healing
process did not go quickly in the beginning. Kip was nursed back
to health by Judy's wonderful husband, Jim, and the bond that
was formed during that time is very evident. We are VERY happy
to say that he has bounced back in fine style, and has some
offspring of his own that we hope to see in the Conformation
rings possibly as soon as 2009! |
| Friday, April 17, 2009 at
Lewiston, Idaho, Gayle & Judy had some extra bragging to do when
Kip earned his 4th major, and Judy's new show dog, Dreampaps
Jean-Gilles (aka Lucas) got their picture taken together - Best
Of Winners and Reserve Winners Dog, as well as Lucas having the
honor of being chosen Best Puppy in Breed by Judge Sharon Krogh. |
 |
| That long drive to
Lewiston, Idaho turned out to be a fun and exciting trip for
Gayle and Judy. April 19, 2009, Judge Darle M. Heck was inspired
by Kip's flashy style, and we were thrilled to know that we
would be bringing home a new Champion! Kip finished in fine
style, going Best of Winners all 5 times. |
